Caroline Herron’s Lawsuit Targets Fannie Mae’s Mismanagement of Mortgage Modification Program

Posted by Larry Doyle on August 11th, 2010 7:17 AM |

Have executives at Fannie Mae worked to benefit their own financial interests versus promoting the well being of American taxpayers and homeowners looking to permanently modify their mortgages? Is Fannie Mae merely a perpetual train wreck or has something even more nefarious gone on inside the halls of our national stepchild?

In recently reviewing The Center for Public Integrity, I was not shocked — but certainly dismayed — to read Whistleblower: Fannie Mae Bungled HAMP Anti-Foreclosure Program,

Fannie Mae executives bungled their stewardship of the federal government’s massive foreclosure-prevention campaign, creating a bureaucratic muddle characterized by “mismanagement and gross waste of public funds,” according to a whistleblower lawsuit by a former Fannie Mae executive and consultant. Barack Obama vs. David Cameron

Posted by Larry Doyle on June 8th, 2010 12:15 PM |

Is Barack Obama listening to the political winds blowing across Europe? With European central bankers turning away from ongoing fiscal stimulus in an attempt to avert a sovereign currency crisis, political leaders in Europe are singing from the same sheet of music. If you don’t think so, let’s listen to the recently elected British Prime Minister David Cameron. What does Cameron have to say? The Financial Times sheds real insights into the future for the UK in writing, Cameron Warns on Impact of Cuts:

David Cameron, Britain’s prime minister, yesterday put the country on notice that his plan to cut the £156bn deficit would have “enormous implications”, warning that public sector pay, pensions and state benefits would all face cuts.

Mr Cameron’s new coalition government has prioritised deficit reduction and is preparing Britain for what is expected to be a bruising “emergency Budget” on June 22. The prime minister said the cuts would hit “every single person in our country”.

What does Barack think about that? (more…)

Do you think corporations are taking charges to earnings due to the new ObamaCare because they have nothing better to do? These charges will ultimately flow through to the economy in terms of higher costs and fewer jobs for you know who.

Uncle Sam is both too stupid to understand and too much of a liar to share these realities with the American public. Remember the Obama agenda is not about wealth creation while growing the economy, it is all about one thing…..WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION!! If Obama loyalists would just come out and state that fact very plainly and clearly, I may grant them a measure of respect for being honest. (Actually, Barack did state that to Joe the Plumber back in October 2008.) (more…)

Healthcare “Right” Comes with Responsibility

Posted by Larry Doyle on March 24th, 2010 9:22 AM |

Do you hear that large sucking sound? Those are the engines of wealth redistribution humming in Washington.

Let’s stop the bulls&%#! President Obama’s healthcare reform, much like many of his other initiatives, is all about wealth redistribution. Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing is a topic for another post, but that is how I see it. I said as much in January (“Healthcare Reform to Make You Ill”), and I will repeat today:

Ultimately, the reform as drafted is a massive redistribution program.

The New York Times addresses this redistribution this morning in writing, In Health Care Bill, Obama Attacks Inequality: >>> (more…)
