This month is shaping up to be a busy one for In Bed with Wall Street. I am thrilled that I have been invited to speak at what I would call the triple crown of library institutions: Library of Congress, New York Public Library, and Boston Public Library.
First up is Boston Public Library later this month (followed by Library of Congress in early June and New York Public Library in late July). In addition to these three grand libraries, please make note of the following events. If any happen to be in your neighborhood, please stop by to say hello!

My Talk at Baruch: In Bed with Wall Street

I thank the countless number of individuals who have introduced me to various media representatives (print, radio, and TV) throughout the country to discuss my work both here at Sense on Cents and in my book In Bed with Wall Street. In the hope that even more media doors might open, I would like to link to a talk I gave earlier this week at Baruch College.
I thank the individual whom I have not met and do not know for having captured my remarks and posted them online. In my talk, I touch upon a host of topics addressed in my book including serious allegations and evidence connected to the misappropriation of funds and insider trading within Wall Street’s self-regulatory organization FINRA, abuse of whistleblowers, sham protection provided by SIPC, and much more including my proposed reforms.
Confident that more than one door to media outlets will be opened by my posting these remarks, I thank those who might share this link with friends and colleagues both inside and outside of the world of media.
Transparency remains the only true disinfectant.

I thank those who have not only read my book but taken the time to leave their thoughts on the book’s page at Amazon. I welcome sharing some selected comments in the hope that they might stimulate others to want to pick up the book.
Author Larry Doyle has written a book that you simply cannot put down. It is a page-turner and each page is a thriller that takes you on an adventure like you’ve never been on. Larry was unafraid to step up to the plate and tell America all of the ugly details behind the conspiracy and the collusion among Wall Street bigwigs, insiders, and so-called admired top brass as well as the politicians, and the regulators.
Buy two copies, one for yourself and one for your Congressman.
This amazing book is becoming the needed bridge between the ‘regular, small’ guy and the honest part of Wall Street.
This is a great read and goes into great detail that anyone, even someone who is not familiar with financial markets, can understand. In Bed with Wall Street should be required reading for every high school student in this country. (more…)

I am more than a little bit pleased that C-SPAN2 Book TV chose to tape a recent talk and Q/A I had in Washington DC in which I discussed my book, In Bed with Wall Street.
For those watching the NFL playoffs, please set your DVRs at 7pm on C-SPAN2 for this 40 minute broadcast. I provide some personal background, my motivations for writing the book, some of the paths I went down that are detailed in the book, and take some questions from the audience. Interview on Lou Dobbs Tonight on Fox Business

There is never any bad press. Although my interview on Lou Dobbs Tonight last evening may have only run for 3 plus minutes, the points covered go to the core of my recently released book.
I was about to connect and expose the third leg of the Wall Street-Washington conspiracy, that being the scandalous corruption within our regulatory system, when host Lori Rothman inquired about Dodd-Frank.
