Sachs Unloads Again on Wall St-Washington Incest

Posted by Larry Doyle on May 1, 2013 7:35 AM |

A few days ago Columbia University’s Jeff Sachs delivered a diatribe on the crony corruption pervasive in the Wall Street – Washington dynamic to a cadre of elites in attendance at a Philadelphia Federal Reserve symposium.

Well, yesterday Sachs took his message to the masses in the midst of an exchange on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.

Selected other liberal contributors to this exchange seemed to me to be almost embarrassed by the beating Sachs put on the “bought and paid for” crowd atop Capitol Hill and others residing and working at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Grab a second cup of coffee and watch this clip from the 3:30 mark. It will only take you 8 minutes and it is well worth it.

Sachs cements his position in the Sense on Cents Hall of Fame with his recent deliveries. As for Dodd-Frank, this blog will hereby refer to that pathetic piece of reform legislation as Fraud-Dank. Thank you Mr. Sachs.

Any doubt that our pols and regulators are “in bed with Wall Street?

Navigate accordingly.

Who would have thought that it would take a liberal leaning economist from Columbia to carry the water and lead the charge on this front.

    Good for Sachs.

Do you get the sense that Sachs is on a mission?

Before all your “me too” respondents nominate Jeff
Sachs for Pope, I suggest they read what Jeff suggests
is the solution to our economic problems…..

I know that Wall Street and Washington bashing isa lot

    This piece is right on.

As a Madoff victim, I feel the full onslaught of Wall Street’s pressure to steal any remaining money the victims have. It will reduce the financial burden of SIPC and set precedent for future frauds as to not paying insurance.

This country is completely screwed, on EVERY level.
