Is the market overvalued? Have we merely created another bubble? How do we measure if a stock or the market is ‘all bubbled up?’ Well, you have come to the right place as this Sunday evening (8-9pm ET) No Quarter Radio’s Sense on Cents with Larry Doyle Welcomes Michael Shulman.
Who is Michael Shulman? A fellow contributing author at Seeking Alpha, from which we learn:
Michael Shulman is the Editor of Michael Shulman’s Short Side Trader, a newsletter advisory service published by Investor Place Media. The service guides individual investors on the short side of the stock market. He is also the author of Sell Short (published by John Wiley, 2009). Mr. Shulman served as Managing Director of Research for ChangeWave Research for four years where he produced technology and healthcare research for financial institutions.
Mr. Shulman joined ChangeWave after spending 20 years in various high-tech industries. Prior to joining ChangeWave, Michael was the CEO of AtYourBusiness.com, an Internet start-up he founded in 1998.
He began his career doing in-depth company and market analysis for a variety of companies, building databases and simulation models to estimate the success of various technologies across a wide range of market segments. He then moved “inside” the high-tech community as a manager at high-tech companies including AT&T.
Mr. Shulman was an early private investor in several Internet start-ups, notably XOOM.com (went public in 1998 and was bought by NBC in 1999) and brings a unique perspective to the ChangeWave research effort, as a combination of technologist, investor and financial analyst.
He has been published in a variety of trade and general business publications, including MarketWatch, the “Los Angeles Times,” and has been seen on CNBC and Fox Business.
Mr. Shulman began work for InvestorPlace Media by performing independent research and financial analysis for several of its publications. Prior to assuming his current role as Editor of the Short Side Trader he was Editor of ChangeWave Hedge Fund Investing and ChangeWave Biotech Investor.
