America needs more men like Ed Morrow.
Ed Morrow embodies the integrity, the character, and the heart to stand and deliver for his colleagues and for those in America who want real transparency and integrity. Ed embraces these virtues and is willing to fight for them.
It was my lucky day when I crossed paths with Ed while navigating the economic landscape. Ed is Chairman and CEO of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC), a non-profit international society dedicated to educate, support, and advance the professionalism of financial advisors who are helping people spend, save, insure, invest and plan for the future. More specifically, in regard to my guest:
Edwin Morrow, Chairman & CEO of IARFC
Ed Morrow entered financial services in 1963 and founded Financial Planning Consultants, based in Middletown, Ohio in 1969 to provide comprehensive planning services to business owners and executives. He has been an active participant in nearly all of the professional organizations in the financial services industry.
He has lectured on financial planning, practice management and marketing in Britain, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, India, Greece, Trinidad, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines, and has been responsible for getting the many financial planning courses established in Asian countries.
Ed is a frequent speaker and writer on practice management and technology for such organizations as the FPA, MDRT, NAIFA, SFSP, and IARFC. He has published over 1000 professional articles, 20 practice management manuals and three books: Computerizing your Financial Planning Practice, The Complete Millennium Preparation Guide and Personal Coaching for Financial Advisors.
Over and above Ed’s many distinguished professional accomplishments, there is little doubt that Ed speaks from the heart and loves our country. As such, I am preemptively inducting Ed into the Sense on Cents Hall of Fame.
