Can anyone time the market?

What's your time horizon? Do you expect the markets to be higher at the end of that time horizon? Do your current holdings match your investment objectives and risk tolerance?

If so, stay the course.

Sellers in March must make decision besides when to sell; When do I buy? Unfortunately, they wait and hope the market falls so they can get back in.

The banks are continuing to pad their balance sheets with bailout cash and Bubble Ben's kegs of Red Bull, so much so that the NY Times is touting the "great health" of the sector, and they're even paying bailout money back! Of course they forgot to mention many of those never requested the bailout cash in the first place. Bubble Ben kept his Potemkin Village propped up in the equities markets enough to get rehired, whether TurboTax Tim strongarms him into keeping the facade up while Rahmbo calls into Jeff Immeldt to keep the cheerleading going on Bubblevision can keep the shell game going remains to be seen.

I don't play blackjack in a house that rigs the games, take your chances at Vegas, they need the business.
