I like where you are going with this. The parable in the Good Book that I appreciate is the story about what one does with the ‘talents’ given to him by the good Lord.

Re- Obama redistribution plans.

Did the Jesuits or Nuns talk about Jesus administering to the poor, saying give up your wealth and follow him.

Obama probably learned that from Reverend Wright and just thinks he is doing the lords work.

Regarding -certainty of higher taxes

That discussion was relevant when the republicans were in complete control, yet they kept on spending and cutting taxes. Cheney said deficits did not matter, Wall Street and the Investment banks cheered on.

Bill Clinton had the guts to raise taxes and the deficit declined dramatically. He did it by working with Gingrich to reform welfare and raise taxes.

I would suggest that Obama does not have the guts to raise taxes. So the way you get debt is decrease the value of the dollar and pay it off with cheaper dollars.

Regarding the stimulus – let us consider that this is being timed to have the situaiton better during the next election, not in the short term
