		<description>Matt interesting link, it would not surprise me if the out growth several years down the road from Iran Contra wash the establishment of laundering operations. It will get worse in the next several years.

There was a trial not so long ago in NYC where a detective was convicted of involvement with Whitey in the murder of several people. They made a killing and now it is all hush hush slush.</description>

WHERE is the mainstream media on this story?  Doesn&#039;t this intrigue any journalist in America anywhere? The only coverage I have seen so far anywhere is by CNBC, who does have a video on their website of a 4-minute segment they did on CNBC this morning.  Interestingly, CNBC interviewed Stanford about a month ago and asked him if he had ever been of any help to U.S. authorities given his connections in Latin America, to which he first replied &quot;You mean the CIA?&quot;  Then he quickly and firmly said &quot;I&#039;m not going to talk about that&quot;.  Does he work for the CIA also?  What prompted him to say that?  CNBC clearly seems to be restricted in how openly they can discuss this story and comment on it, but the interview segment they show here from their interview with Stanford a month ago is very interesting:
